week end !!

this week end, we were invited to participate to an international evening in Dobele, 9 volunteers from 7 differents country made a presentation of their country, ( Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Moldova ) some of them cooked ( Tiramisu, crépes, tortilla etc...) we played few game and learn about news cultures it was really interesting , then we participated to a farewell party for one German volunteer.

on sunday we went with our group of traditional dance participate to a training to be perfect for our next concert in 2 weeks  !!!

COMPETITION

on friday to celebrate the week end we organized a competitionfor the childrens, all the competition was around famous game but play on an another way, air hockey play with dame, table tennis play with plastic glasses , and billiard play with table tennis ball 

4 teams participated to this competition, and the green team WON !!

last week we made a snake day with the children, 

and the result is quite nice everybody made 1 or 2 snakes :D

Vilnius !!!!

WE MADE IT !!!the adventure begin at 9h30 in jelgava, first we found sara our italian friend who came with us, then go to rimi to buy some cake :D
and then the real adventure begin , us 3 on the side walk trying to hitchhike, thumbs up, big smile, and freezing face , yes -12 ° your face can freeze !!

and finally after 35 min a first car took us, and from this car all as really easy 2 others cars was necessary to go to vilnius but we never wait more than 5 min :D and we met nice people 

during our trip we couchsurf in balys flat, he was really interesting and know lot of thing about history and lithuanian country, we also take part to a party :D perfect week end  :D

hitchhiking

Hitchhiking : find a way to give to your travel a different taste

Travel to another city, country, just holding your thumb up , for free , meeting new people ,having nice surprise!!

Eniko use to practice hitchhiking in romania where it seems to be really easy so she is our leader in this project, actually we already hitchhike  4 times in Latvia ( jelgava-dobele, stalgene-riga etc...) and we failed 1 so we had to take the bus, but we keep smiling. People are not use to hitchhike here in latvia but people accept to take us.

the big project of this week end will be to go to vilnius by hitchhiking ! 280 km

Last week , the routine was back in kraujas, first monday, Damien painted a balloon to stick on the ceiling, this balloon represent the freedom because it can flye everywhere without any borderlines,

then tuesday the handicraft workshop was organized, we had a lot of toilet paper roll so we decided to give them a second life and to show to the children, how to recycle thing of everyday finally crocodiles, zebra, ladybug, butterflies came alive between the hand of the children.

thursday the second handicraft was still on the recycle theme, before christmas we used a half bottle to make christmas ornement ( here !! )so thursday we used the other half part to make some candlesticks

and friday for the first time we went in jaunlidumi, make sport with some children, volley ball, basket ball, and table tennis.

merry christmas and happy new year

the last 2 week was amazing !!
first for christmas we were in Liepaja near the sea to celebrate christmas with 3 others volunteers , it was the first time that we celebrate christmas far of our family, we had great time all together and we really like the city we will go back for sure during summer to enjoy the sea

then big surprise for christmas Damien went to stockholm with 2 others volunteers during 3 days , the trip was really good and stockholm is a really nice city, they find a couch surfing and have really good time 

let s go, 16h of ferry 

and finally for new year eve, 9 volunteer came to stalgene in our flat to have a party , with people living in stalgene it was really really great !!!!
